Developing a good lifestyle and habit is meaningful for us to prevent stomach cancer. Here are some dos and don’ts for preventing stomach cancer.

Don’ts

Longterm staying up late for study or work can cause mental strain, leading to excessive gastric acid secretion and stomach discomfort.

Stomach acids are usually consumed to digest food. When there is no food, excess acids will damage the esophagus and gastrointestinal mucosa. In the long run, gastric ulcer will occur and gallstones will be induced by the cholesterol deposition in the bile.

3. Exercise after a meal

It is not recommended to exercise immediately after a full meal, otherwise, it may lead to the insufficient blood supply to the internal organs, which affects digestive functions.

4. Sleep immediately after a meal

It is common that young people sleep immediately after eating up late with friends. This lifestyle increases the risk of getting digestive problems.

5. Overeat every day

Uncontrolled diet can increase the burden on the stomach and disrupt the normal work of the digestive system.

6. Neglect stomach symptoms

2. Eat slowly

It is recommended that the dinner time should last at least 20 minutes. The food should be chewed as much as possible, which help reduce a burden on the stomach.

3. Smoke and drink less

Alcohol and tobacco can directly damage the gastric mucosa, and smoking can also cause damage to gastric capillaries.

4. Exercise regularly

A regular exercise help improve intestines and stomach functions.

5. Keep a good mood

A large number of clinical practices have proved that emotions directly affect people’s gastrointestinal function, and sometimes a low mood causes people to have pain, acid reflux, heartburn and even constipation in the upper abdomen.

If you have stomach pain or abdominal pain, consult a doctor immediately.
