Ginseng is one of the most popular medicinal herbs. The use of ginseng as a natural remedy can date back to over a thousand years when ancient Chinese people began to take ginseng as a tonic to treat physical and psychological fatigue and weakness and to enhance physical strength to facilitate recovery from diseases. Nowadays, ginseng is a household energy booster around the world.

Finding an authentic ginseng supplement is not always easy

There are a variety of ginseng supplements in the current market so it involves knowledge and wisdom to select a ginseng supplement with authentic ginseng roots as ingredients. You can tell that whole ginseng roots are ginseng in nature, however, it is not always easy to find an authentic ginseng supplement. The New York State attorney’s general offices in 2015 tested herbal supplements on four major supplement retailers, only finding that four out of five tested supplements products did not contain any of the herbs on the labels. Moreover, even you find a ginseng supplement containing ginseng ingredients, it does not mean you find a good ginseng supplement.

Major ginsenosides can be hardly absorbed among the majority of people

The active ingredients of ginseng are known as ginsenosides, which exhibit antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and anti-tumor properties. A majority of people know that they shall find a ginseng supplement containing a high percentage of ginsenosides, however, it is still not enough to select out a truely valuable ginseng supplement.

There are hundreds of ginsenosides already isolated and identified by scientists. The major ginsenosides are Rb1, Rb2, Rd, Rg1, Rc, Re, which account for 90% of the total ginsenosides content. These ginsenosides are high-molecule-weight and fail to pass through the mucosal tissues into the blood, so they are poorly absorbed and utilized by the individuals.

Major ginsenosides can be converted into rare ginsenosides by the specific gut flora in the body. However, only one in five people have specific gut flora to break down major ginsenosides into rare ginsenosides, meaning that most people could not obtain as much health benefits from major ginsenosides in ginseng as possible. A ginseng supplement containing high amounts of total ginsenosides cannot ensure the best absorption.

Rare ginsenosides are more easily absorbable, indicated by study

The minor ginsenosides, which are bio-converted from major ginsenosides, are known as rare ginsenosides. For example, mojor ginsenoside Rb1 can be converted into rare ginsenoside Rh2. Common rare ginsenosides include Rg3, Compound CK, F2, Rg5, Rk1, Rk2, Rh2, Rh3, aPPD, etc. Rare ginsenosides are small-molecule-weight compounds with brilliant bioactivity and absorption, metabolized from their parent compounds, major ginsenosides.

The superior absorption of rare ginsenosides is indicated by a recent study published in the journal Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine. The researchers explored the pharmacokinetics of ginsenoside Rb1, Rg3, Rk1, Rg5, F2, and Compound K from red ginseng extract in healthy Korean volunteers.

The findings of the study showed that ginsenosides Rg3, Rk1 + Rg5, F2, and CK in the bio-converted red ginseng extract group showed a higher maximum observed plasma drug concentration and shorter time to reach maximum observed plasma drug concentration than those in the red ginseng group. The study concluded that bio-converted red ginseng extract may lead to a higher absorption rate of bioactive ginsenosides.

Since most people could not absorb and utilize major ginsenosides in the body, the conversion of major ginsenosides into rare ginsenosides is necessary and some bioconversion methods have emerging like heat treatment, acid hydrolysis, enzyme treatment, etc., in recent years.

Redsenol is an outstanding ginseng brand featuring highly bioactive and easily absorbable rare ginsenosides

In the current market, there are only several ginseng supplement brands focusing on rare ginsenoside production. Redsenol, developed by Canada Royal Enoch Phytomedicine Ltd., is an outstanding ginseng brand featuring multiple rare ginsenosides in high concentration. The company owns four proprietary technologies to produce highly bioactive and easily absorbable rare ginsenosides including Rh2, Rg3, Rg5, Rk1, Rh1, Rh3, aPPD, etc.

Redsenol series has two products, Redsenol-1 Noble Ginsenoside Capsules and Redsenol Dag Sublingual Pills. Redsenol-1 contains sixteen kinds of rare ginsenosides in high concentration. Different ginsenosides exhibit different biochemical properties and sixteen rare ginsenosides in Redsenol-1 can work together to exert synergistic health benefits. In addition, the rare ginsenoside content in Redsenol-1 reaches 20%, much higher than other counterparts in the market.

Rare ginsenoside can be further converted to extremely rare ginsenosides with perfect bioactivity. Eight extremely rare ginsenosides out of sixteen rare ginsenosides are selected into Redsenol Dag pills. The lipid-soluble small pills taken under the tongue can diffuse into lots of capillaries on the cheek and area to enter the bloodstream with high bioavailability and potency. It is quite friendly for those who have trouble swallowing pills, tablets or capsules.

Redsenol is manufactured in a GMP certified facility located in Vancouver, Canada. Each batch of Redsenol products go through 70 strict screenings (i.e., 5 heavy metal contaminants screenings, 5 microbial contaminants screenings, 60 chemically toxic residue screenings), to ensure quality and safety.

Redsenol is an innovative pioneer in the rare ginsenoside field. When most manufacturers develop ginseng products with total ginsenoside content, Redsenol is reputed for containing multi-component are ginsenosides that are more super bioactive and absorbable, and it is your convenient way to enjoy the maximal health benefits of rare ginsenosides.
